The works on the wall were not refined or flawless, but they were sincere; free from self-pity or resentment. Each revealed a unique personality: strength and softness, urgency and calm, bold songs and gentle whispers.
Art therapy is not about the artwork; it is about the process. Through creation and communication, patients untie emotional knots. I thought: how beautiful it would be to settle debts, resolve grudges, fulfil wishes. The next journey would be lighter, freer.
Life is brief, yet it leaves marks: colours, strokes, lines, force, composition, style. Despite confusion and pain, there are peace, sweetness, love and beautiful memories.
Within an hour, the exhibition was complete. We walked slowly, again and again. The mood was not heavy. On the contrary, the vibrant colours and open spirit moved and inspired me. Not sadness; but optimism radiated from the works.
They showed me that goodness can overcome darkness. Everything became calm, generous, unhurried.
